24 January 2025 World Education Day: ASTM invests in the future with an intense training program
ASTM, on the World Education Day, confirms its commitment to training as a strategic investment and an integral part of its social responsibility journey. Through 2024 alone, the Group provided approximately 250 thousand hours of courses, promoting both technical upgrading and personal growth of its employees.
Through its Academy, ASTM offers technical and advanced training initiatives to about 200 young engineers and architects, new talents joining the company. The program aims to develop multidisciplinary skills in the design, construction, management and ecological transition of large infrastructure. Through the support of industry experts, academics and institutional representatives, the Academy stands out as a place for sharing knowledge, experience and innovative strategies. In addition, the Group supports its employees with initiatives of different nature: specific meetings for the area they belong to, for example, sessions dedicated to occupational safety for those who work on motorway sections, programs for the development of soft skills, and training moments on issues of social relevance, such as the fight against gender violence.
Moreover, the ASTM Group has always been committed to enhancing education as an essential tool for professional growth in the infrastructure sector, actively collaborating with the academic world. This commitment is expressed in lectio magistralis given by its experts at leading technical universities and in workshops dedicated to undergraduates.
Designed to meet the challenges of a competitive market, to foster a healthy corporate culture, and to provide its people with tools and experiences for growth, training remains at the heart of ASTM’s strategy. The Group learning programs are enriched each year with new topics, aimed at developing technical and transversal skills, both of which are fundamental for personal and work well-being.
