01 August 2024 First-half 2024 results approved
ASTM‘s Board of Directors approved the consolidated half-year financial report as of June 30, 2024.
The Group records significant development both in Italy and globally: turnover touches EUR 2.3 billion, up 22% compared to the first half of last year, while consolidated EBITDA reaches EUR 996 million, up 13.5% compared to June 30, 2023. Net profit attributable to the Group stands at EUR 121 million, compared with EUR 134 million in 1H2023, affected by higher amortization, provisions and financial management.
ASTM’s commitment in Italy to the modernization of the motorway network under concession increases with investments of €426 million, in order to create a modern, safer and technologically advanced infrastructure for all users. Group’s presence in Brazil’s concessions sector grows significantly, thanks to the progressive tolling of the sections managed by EcoRioMinas and EcoNoroeste, toll revenues grew by more than 30%.
The value of production in the EPC sector also grew by 23%, through the Itinera Group, among the leading companies in the sector in Italy and active in more than 10 countries worldwide, in the United States through the company Halmar International and in Brazil through the company Itinera Construçoes.
This growth path reflects the strength and validity of the Group’s business model which will continue to invest in the modernization of networks and the development of innovative technologies, contributing to the country’s ecological and energy transition.
