ASTM and UniTO: time fot lectio magistralis

ASTM accepted the dual invitation of the University of Turin, bringing its own testimony through lectio magistralis given by representatives of the Group.

The ‘Cognetti de Martiis’ Department of Economics and Statistics, through an initiative by Prof. Franco Gaboardi and Dr. Paolo Manzone, is offering students the opportunity to take part in a series of lectures given by professionals from outside the university, with the aim of understanding system logics and the more operational aspects of business, as well as to come into contact with companies that may welcome them at the end of their studies. Within this context, the first lecture involved Loretta Corti, Communication Manager, Francesco D’Ambra, Technical Director of the SITAF concessionaire, and Roberto Sanino, Head of Planning and Control, who respectively presented the Group, talked about the concession system and the toll pricing.

The second appointment, again with the University of Turin, focused on corporate governance and sustainability. The lesson, delivered by Simone Bagnariol, General Counsel, and Francesco Rinaldi, from the Corporate Affairs & Compliance department, was aimed at students of Economics and Business Management within the framework of the Master’s Degree Course in Foreign Languages for International Communication. Thanks to the relationship that exists between ASTM and Prof. Filippo Monge, the Group was able to bring its own experience: in particular, Bagnariol provided an overview of ASTM, also illustrating the main present and future projects, and then went on to describe the governance, with particular attention to the composition of the Board of Directors and its Committees. Next, Rinaldi addressed the issues of governance and sustainability, which are strongly interconnected, through a description of the objectives and pillars of the strategy on which the Group’s commitment is based and takes shape.

Lectio magistralis, as well as career days, are very important moments of encounter that allow ASTM to be brought closer to the new generations, supporting its correct positioning.
